Our Mission

About Field Art FC

Field Art FC is a Mainland based soccer community with the passion, skill and experience to develop your young athlete into an elite level soccer player. Our collection of coaches brings international experience and structured training systems used at clubs like Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam to develop players in the European style of play. We are an inclusive community looking for like-minded players committed to learning all facets of the beautiful game. We teach our players the mental, physical, tactical and technical skills that they need to be competitive and have fun playing the game of soccer.

Why We Are Different…

Our professional coaches work as a team throughout the entire club to provide a consistent approach to training and style of play. Players can be moved up or down divisions and age groups based on their ability level and will find a familiar coaching style between teams which helps motivate and develop competitive athletes. Our teams will compete against local teams, other academies and in a variety of tournaments throughout the year. Through our partnership with Envision Physiotherapy, our athletes, coaches, parents and physiotherapists will all have a direct line of communication with each other to help facilitate athletic development, injury prevention and concussion management.

Our History & Our Future…

Field Art FC was founded by Othmane (Otto) Kabbadj in 2018 as a local soccer club to help provide professional level coaching for local youth, indigenous groups and refugees.  He has since built a team of experienced coaches to run winter/fall and spring/summer soccer academies as well as after school camps at local elementary schools.  The group has organically grown over the past three years, organized a volunteer board, registered as a non-profit and has been accepted into the Vancouver Youth Soccer Association as of the year 2022. Field Art’s goal is to offer a new model of soccer community and development in Vancouver that is both inclusive and competitive in order to draw new players to the sport and raise the bar for soccer development in our city.
