Field Art Fc House Teams program aims to instill a love of soccer in young players. The program emphasizes the importance of having fun, making friends, and leading a healthy and active lifestyle through playing the sport. It also provides kids with their first taste of team dynamics and helps them develop social skills by interacting with new players.
Starting at the U11 level, all teams participate in divisional play and are affiliated with the Vancouver Youth Soccer Association (VYSA) for placement in divisions of the BC Coastal Soccer League (BCCSL).
Players participate on balanced teams that emphasize community and the development of fundamental soccer skills. From U11 to U15, teams are formed based on ability, with players of similar skill and commitment levels playing together.
As players have different rates of development, separate programs are offered for boys and girls, with different levels of play available. Players who have advanced skills and a strong commitment will play on Div 1 teams, while those with moderate skills will play on Div 2 teams, and those who are primarily interested in playing socially or recreationally will play on Div 3 teams. The overall goal is to encourage continued participation in soccer.
The goal of Field Art FC Spring Break Camps is to create a welcoming atmosphere and promote a passion for team sports among boys & girls in our community. Experienced coaches lead enjoyable and interactive activities and exercises, providing opportunities for players to improve their skills with the ball. Participants are grouped by age, gender, and skill level to ensure an enjoyable and developmentally beneficial experience for all.

About Field Art F.C

Field Art F.C is a Metro Vancouver based soccer community with the passion, skill and experience to develop your young athlete into an elite level soccer player. Our collection of coaches brings international experience and structured training systems used at clubs like Barcelona and Ajax Amsterdam to develop players in the European style of play. We are an inclusive community looking for like-minded players committed to learning all facets of the beautiful game. We teach our players the mental, physical, tactical and technical skills that they need to be competitive and have fun playing the game of soccer.

Why We Are Different…

Our professional coaches work as a team throughout the entire club to provide a consistent approach to training and style of play. Players can be moved up or down divisions and age groups based on their ability level and will find a familiar coaching style between teams which helps motivate and develop competitive athletes. Our teams will compete against local teams, other academies and in a variety of tournaments throughout the year. Through our partnership with Envision Physiotherapy, our athletes, coaches, parents and physiotherapists will all have a direct line of communication with each other to help facilitate athletic development, injury prevention and concussion management.

Our History & Our Future…

Field Art F.C was founded by Othmane (Otto) Kabbadj in 2018 as a local soccer academy to help provide professional level coaching for local youth, indigenous groups and refugees. He has since built a team of experienced coaches to run winter/fall and spring/summer soccer academies as well as after school camps at local elementary schools. The group has organically grown over the past three years, organized a volunteer board, registered as a non-profit and is working towards joining the Vancouver district leagues for the Spring & Fall of 2022 and beyond. Field Art’s goal is to offer a new model of soccer community and development in Vancouver that is both inclusive and competitive in order to draw new players to the sport and raise the bar for soccer development in our city.
